The National Association of Parish PREX Secretariats (NAPPS) announces the holding of its 11th National PREX Convention on February 19-21, 2010 in General Santos City, South Cotabato. The Convention is a biennial gathering of all graduates of the Parish Renewal Experience (PREX) Seminars from various parishes all over the country.

The Theme of the Convention is: “The Call to Social Transformation”, which seeks to place under its umbrella relevant and contemporary social issues, and what the response of a Catholic should be. Social transformation is the conversion of society into a community guided by love, in which the power of the resurrection is witnessed in righteousness, justice, liberty and wholeness according to God’s plan. PREX graduates  are called upon to be the “salt of the earth ” and the “light of the world ”. (Mt. 5:13-14).
